A big CONGRATULATIONS to all those who placed in this year’s NFPW contest! Contest director Helen Plotkin said the 2025 contest drew a record number of high-quality entries from across the nation. Even an honorable mention was difficult to win in this contest, she said. To compete at the national level, entrants had to win a first-place award in a state or the At-Large contest. Three Colorado Press Women won first place awards in the At-Large contest. Then they earned the following awards in the national competition.
