Registration is now open for the 2025 NFPW Communications Conference, which will be held Sept. 11–13 at the Denver Marriott West in Golden, Colorado. Themed “The Next Frontier,” the conference will highlight Colorado’s Old West history as well as its innovative leadership in communications, science and technology.
Conferencegoers can register for the full conference or a single day. Early-bird registration rates are available through August 15. High School and college students are eligible for a discounted rate at all levels of registration.
Host Colorado Press Women (CPW) has developed a robust menu of educational sessions, networking opportunities, awards ceremonies, and tours for journalists, public relations professionals, educators and students seeking build their skills, expand their horizons and create connections.
The conference will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 11 with a welcome reception at Foothills Art Center, one of several Colorado businesses who are supporting the conference as sponsors.
The conference features 15 thought-provoking educational sessions designed to inform, inspire, and empower communicators. Presented by Colorado media leaders and award-winning communicators, these panels and workshops will cover science storytelling, crisis communications, media ethics, media literacy, censorship, nonprofit news models, responsible use of AI and other timely topics.
