NFPW Communications Contest encourages and rewards excellence in communications in a wide range of categories — writing, editing and page design, photography and graphics, radio and television, web and social media, advertising, public relations/promotion/publicity, speeches, collegiate/education, books and creative writing. Colorado members of NFPW are urged to enter the At-Large Contest run by the National Federation of Press Women for states without an active contest (like Colorado). Once a large number of Colorado members begin entering the At-Large Contest, CPW will reactivate a state contest. First-place At-Large winners are automatically entered in NFPW’s national contest. Competitors are often from New York, New Hampshire, Maryland, Louisiana, Nevada, Tennessee, Oregon, Wyoming, Georgia, Florida, Connecticut and Michigan.

Early bird Deadline, January 28, 2020 (midnight in your time zone.) A one-time $25 late fee will be assessed to all entrants after this date.
Book final deadline, February 4, 2020 (midnight in your time zone.) Due to the extended time it takes to judge book categories, all book entries must be entered by this date.
