Tocabe – An American Indian Eatery is preparing and presenting hors d’oeuvres at a Sept. 9 pre-conference happy hour featuring Tocabe’s American Indian cuisine and the story it tells about Indigenous culture.
Tocabe’s menu fuses traditional Osage family recipes with elements of modern American Indian fare. Tocabe’s philosophy is Native first, local second. They source products from local farmers and represent American Indian culture in the 21st century. Their recipes have been passed down from family and learned from partnerships throughout Indian Country.

Foothills Art Center is making their space available for the conference’s Sept. 11 opening reception at their historic Astor House location in the heart of Golden.
The Foothills Art Center was established in 1968 when a group of local artists brought the First Presbyterian church building adjacent to the Colorado School of Mines Campus to have a permanent location for their work.
Since then, Foothills Art Center has grown and evolved to offer a broad range of exhibits, events and programming for artists and community members. To meet the needs of the community, they expanded into the historic Astor House in downtown Golden to display all their exhibitions.

Lutheran Hospital is an acute-care community hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, that has provided care for more than 120 years and opened a new state-of-the-art hospital campus in 2024. Part of Intermountain Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the Western United States, Lutheran is nationally recognized for its outstanding clinical performance.
It is the only hospital in Jefferson County that delivers babies and has delivered more than 110,000 babies since 1970. Lutheran has been a designated Level II Trauma Center for three years and is also a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Donna Bryson and Fred Glick are opening their extraordinary, art-filled Denver home and hosting the Sept. 9 happy hour capping off NFPW and CPW’s pre-conference tour of History Colorado Center and Denver Art Museum/Golden Triangle Arts District.
Donna is a CPW member and a national affairs editor for Reuters. Her husband Fred brought his background in theater design and his training in urban planning to the task of transforming what was once a former U.S. Army supply depot boiler house into their home. Today, their home stands as a model of urban adaptive reuse architecture in Denver’s Clayton neighborhood. Fred is a real estate developer.

Eldorado Natural Spring Water will provide pure artesian spring water from Eldorado Springs, Colorado (just outside of Golden) for those who attend the Golden pre-conference tour and the opening reception.
