Alvina Vasquez, born and raised in Colorado, has been involved in the Denver broadcasting industry for more than 10 years.

At age 16 she began her career as a promotions intern at the first Spanish language FM radio station Radio Romantica. During her career she has worked with Radio Unica, KCNC CBS News4, KMGH Denver’s 7 and now serves as community outreach coordinator for KZCO Azteca America Colorado, Denver’s newest Spanish language television network.

Vasquez is pursuing a bachelor's degree at Regis University and also serves as executive director for Colorado Steppin' Out for Kids, a local non-profit that purchases and distributes brand new wardrobes for Colorado’s youth grade K-8.
