With 15 years of experience, Gina M. Seamans has operated a successful consulting practice since 1998. Prior to founding Accent Public Relations, she was a counselor at JohnstonWells Public Relations, one of the Rocky Mountain region's top public relations firms. Beyond her award-winning consulting experience, Seamans also worked for four years in local government public affairs.

Seamans offers an extensive background in various public relations service areas such as local and national media relations, community relations, employee communications, issues management, crisis communications, special event planning, business-to-business communications and executive positioning. She has represented close to 100 clients in numerous industries, including health care, construction, retail, consumer products, food products, financial services, professional services, technology, travel and tourism.

Seamans is a 14-year member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). From 1996 to 2002 and again beginning in 2005, she served on that organization's local board of directors, and in 1999, obtained her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) certification. She received the 2001 PRSA Chapter Service Award and was named PRSA Rookie of the Year in 1994. In 2002 Seamans was named to The Denver Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" list of local business leaders and was a finalist for The Denver Business Journal's "Outstanding Women in Business" award.

Seamans, a third-generation Colorado native, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder School of Journalism. She resides in Arvada with her husband and two children.
