Marilyn Saltzman, APR, is a public relations consultant whose clients include the Colorado Department of Education, Colorado school districts and educational organizations across the nation. She has served as an adjunct professor of public relations management for Colorado State University.

Saltzman retired after 20 years as manager, Communications Services, Jefferson County Public Schools, Colorado’s largest school district. Her responsibilities included crisis communications, media relations, publications, internal communications, community relations, and communications counseling, training and planning. She took a lead communications role in the Columbine High School tragedy.

She is co-author of three award-winning non-fiction books and has written articles for national publications and presented workshops across the country on communications topics.
