Rick Giase is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer and photo editor with more than 25 years experience as a photojournalist. He has covered national and international news and sporting events, including the Olympics, NHL Stanley Cup finals, NFL Super Bowl and international economic summits.

Giase has photographed U.S. presidents, the Pope and foreign heads of state. He received a Pulitzer Prize for photography in 2003 while at the Rocky Mountain News and was a Pulitzer nominee in 1995.

During his decade at the Rocky, Rick was responsible for converting the photo department from film-based photography to the use of all digital photographic technology.
