The Fort Restaurant

The Fort was built in 1962 in the foothills southwest of Denver by Sam Arnold as an adobe replica of Bent's Old Fort in southeast Colorado (1833-1849). He decided to turn the fort replica into a restaurant serving foods of the Bent's Fort period.

The Fort hosted the Summit of the Eight dinner in 1997, including world leaders Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Boris Yeltsin, Helmet Kohl and others.
